The 26.2 mile (42km) course is one of the top six international marathons and is also one of the largest annual fund raising events in the world. The relatively flat course is based around the River Thames, taking in Canary Wharf, The Embankment, London Eye, Big Ben, Buckingham Palace and more of London’s iconic sights.

Hotel Details

The Amba Hotel Charing Cross is just steps away (300m) from the London Marathon finish line at Trafalgar Square. After completion of the 42k course, it is a relief to be able to skip the crowd and ques, reaching the hotel within minutes of walking and no transportation required. Upon entry through the lobby, the entire reception staff will greet your arrival with cheering, balloons and clapping. Being attached to the Charing Cross Station and Underground, you will have easy access to either 3 of the start locations with barely more to walk than 50m from your hotel door.
