Our 2014 Active Achievements and 2015 Active Goals

Last year we got our team to share what we achieved in 2013 and what our active goals were for 2014.

It was a great way for us to put ourselves in the position of our clients and take stock of our achievements, and make sure we continue to challenge ourselves.

The time has come to look back on what we ticked off our 2014 list, and to start planning for 2015!

If you’re not sure what to tackle in the New Year, perhaps our lists will inspire you. We are also sharing summaries of each person’s achievements and goals on our Facebook Page, and Instagram and Twitter using the #FCAT2015ActiveGoals hashtag.

Active achievements of 2014:

  • Great Ocean Road Marathon
  • Vuelta a Espa–a (Tour of Spain) ride host

Active goals for 2015:

  • 3 Peaks Challenge cycling event
  • UCI Road World Championships – Richmond 2015

Who inspires me:

Seeing my staff set challenging personal goals and work damn hard to achieve them, watching them self develop is inspiring.

  • Salkantay Trek to Machu Picchu
  • TCS New York City Marathon
  • Healthwise 12 week challenge

Active goals for 2015:

  • Mount Kilimanjaro or Everest Base Camp Trek
  • Berlin Marathon

Who inspires me:

My parents. Both now into their 60’s, and ticking off more active goals than ever before!

Active achievements of 2014:

  • Starting to run consistently again in February
  • 10km Anzac Day Run
  • Salomon Trail Running Series
  • PB for 10km under 50 minutes at Run Melbourne
  • Gold Coast Half Marathon
  • PB of 1.51 for Sandy Point Half Marathon
  • Melbourne Marathon Ð completed first marathon!
  • Upstream Challenge 50km walk
  • White water rafting in Borneo

Active goals for 2015:

  • Two Bays 28km Trail Run
  • Sunset Series 3 Race – 8km runs
  • Sri Chinmoy 15km run
  • Rollercoaster Run – 21.5km Trail Run (has the best medal in Australian running)
  • Paris Marathon
  • Great Ocean Road half marathon
  • Salomon Trail Running Series
  • Gold Coast Half Marathon, and better last year’s time
  • Berlin Marathon
  • Buy a Mountain bike and start adventure racing and mountain bike endure
  • A lot more surfing in 2015 than there was in 2014, especially through winter, and hopefully with a Tassie trip

Who inspires me:

People who overcome large obstacles, and show a longterm commitment to overcome their goals. I am a mess watching the Paralympics!

  • reaching semi finals for my GPS Rugby Club

  • make Outside Centre for 1st Grade GPS Rugby
  • Bridge to Brisbane 10km run
  • Melbourne Half Marathon
  • Berlin Marathon
  • Noosa Triathlon
